Rock Springs Main Street/URA & Casey Kuckert Consulting continue “Ladies Who Lunch” event in September
The Rock Springs Main Street/Urban Renewal Agency (URA) is collaborating with Casey Kuckert Consulting to continue its initiative aimed at helping women entrepreneurs in Sweetwater County. “Ladies Who Lunch” are regular conversations that can help build professional and personal networks for support and business growth for Sweetwater County business owners and managers.
Participants can enjoy lunch while meeting other business owners in the area. This is a time to not only network with other business owners but also have real discussions about business issues. Each meeting will focus on a different business-related topic.
This month’s lunch will be held on Tuesday, September 27 at 12:00 noon at the Broadway Theater (618 Broadway Street). The month’s lunch will be a bit different, featuring a sound bath by Sandi Carter with Grounded Moon.
Participants can enjoy a respite during the lunch-hour during this unique Ladies Who Lunch event. Sandi Carter from Grounded Moon will provide a sound bath. A sound bath has a therapeutic effect on the body and the mind by immersing your senses in rhythmic calming sounds. Sandi has many Instruments she uses during this hour long session including crystal bowls, wind chimes, drums, and gongs just to name a few. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing.
Because of the unique nature of this month’s luncheon, those wishing to attend are encouraged to RSVP by September 26 by calling the URA office. The Rock Springs Main Street/URA will provide a free sack lunch from Coal Train Coffee Depot so pre-registration is required. Ladies Who Lunch is open to any business women in Sweetwater County.
The Rock Springs Main Street/Urban Renewal Agency is charged with the redevelopment of downtown Rock Springs. As part of their mission, there are three standing committees – Business Development, Promotions and Arts and Culture. For more information on the program, contact the Rock Springs Main Street/Urban Renewal Agency at 307-352-1434 or visit their website at downtownrs.com.
