My Own Downtown - Ryan Greene

As a business man himself, Ryan Greene would like to see local entrepreneurs succeed. Most accomplishments have started in Downtown Rock Springs.

“Without a doubt, the wonderful small business owners make Downtown what it is,” Ryan shared. “Business owners in Downtown are amazing people.”

He added, “We know each other on a first name basis and they treat my kids like their family.”

Ryan recognizes the pride local merchants have for their businesses.

“My Downtown is full of entrepreneurs pursing their dreams,” he said. “They are examples to all of what small towns are and should be about.”

Ryan and his family created many fun memories that will last a lifetime in local parades.

“It was so much fun to interact with the people of Rock Springs especially with my family,” he expressed.

Ryan encourages everyone to support their businesses by shopping local first.

“Shop local anytime you can,” he suggested. “Our small Downtown businesses are great businesses and these folks play a huge role in our community.”

He continued to say, “Whether it’s coaching our kids, sponsoring charitable events or hosting fundraisers, these folks support our community.”

According to Ryan, he believes that by working together with stakeholders from SEDC, URA, City Council, County Commissioners, business leaders, property owners and the public, new strategies will emerge to promote, strengthen and build Downtown Rock Springs.

…And that’s why Downtown Rock Springs is My Own Downtown.
