• Ongoing, Yoga Classes with Salina, Escape Day Spa and Boutique, Various Times
  Discover the benefits of Yoga! Salina teaches practices to quiet the mind, soothe the body & ease back from injury.  Salina Zanetti is a Certified Yoga Instructor and will be teaching Monday - Friday in the Fitness Room at Escape Day Spa & Boutique. All ages and abilities welcome! Classes are held Monday - Friday at 6:15pm and Tuesday-Thursday at 9:30am. (Room is large enough to allow social distancing.) Drop-in rate is $10, 10 class pre-paid series is $80

  Throughout the month of May, the Rock Springs Main Street/URA will be inviting residents and visitors alike to enjoy a taco at all seven participating Downtown eateries.  View our website for full details and how you can get a free t-shirt, just for eating tacos!

  Bring your school ID and purchase a beverage and receive the chef choice appetizer.
• May  13, RSPD Open House, Rock Springs Police Department, 5 to 7 pm
  The Rock Springs Police Department invites you to the 4th Annual Open House!
  Come tour the department! There will be live demonstrations, kid activities, door prizes, food trucks, adopt-a-pet and so much more!
  This is a free community event.
• May 13, Trivia for Squares, Square State Brewing, 6 pm to 8 pm
  Bring your brain, your friends and slug some beers while you compete in trivia for prizes. We will see you in the taproom it's going to get wild!
• May 13, Wine Tasting, Sidekicks Book & Wine Bar, 6:30 pm
  Sweetwater County Young Professionals is hosting a wine tasting at Sidekicks Wine and Book Bar in Downtown Rock Springs. $15 gets you samples of a spread of wines, charcuterie board snacks paid for by SWYP, and socialize with like-minded professionals. Attendance is capped at 20 for this event, so please call Sidekicks or message SWYP
• May 14 & 16, Veterans Guided Rock Springs Cemetery Walking Tour, Rock Springs Cemetery
   Hosted by the Rock Springs Historical Museum. Join local historian CK Lee as she gives a special guided tour of the Rock Springs Cemetery paying tribute to our local Veterans.
  Lee has spent years researching the families and individuals who made Rock Springs home and has shared her love of history with anyone who is interested. Now she was turned her attention to the Veterans who made Rock Springs home and is ready to share their stories.
  We will meet at the Directory located at the center of the Rock Springs Cemetery at 4:00 pm sharp Friday to begin the tour. Sunday we will meet at 2:30 pm sharp for the encore tours.
  *Please note this is an outdoor walking tour, wear appropriate shoes and be aware that there will be a good deal of both walking and standing. Masks and social distancing are strongly encouraged, and animals are not allowed in the cemetery.*
• May 15-16, Needle Felting Workshop Weekend, the yarn and the tale, 10 am
  This is a two-day workshop from 10:00 am - 3:30 pm, including a half-hour break for lunch.
  Materials kits are provided for all students. Those attending both days will receive extra fiber. Students attending Day 2 are welcome to bring existing projects. Additional materials desired beyond those provided in the kits are available for purchase at the yarn and the tale. Contact the yarn and tale to register or for more information - (970) 412-4403
• May 15, Joe's Liquor and Bar, Complimentary drink for those who served for Armed Forces Day, ALL DAY. 
• May 15, Live Band - ZamTrip, Square State Brewing, 7 to 10 pm
  For ZamTrip to say that rock and roll runs in their blood is an understatement. The band was started by the three Zampedri brothers in Wyoming. Get down to the Taproom to enjoy and acoustic set by this awesome band.

  Live, original, and familiar rock hits by Free Resonance.
• May1-31, Historic Preservation Month, Downtown Rock Springs
  May is National Historic Preservation Month and the community is invited to celebrate it in Downtown Rock Springs. The Rock Springs Main Street/Urban Renewal Agency (URA) are hosting several events and activities to draw attention to our local historic preservation efforts.  Visit our website for all of the details.
